This discussion group was created to extend discussions presented in the GGKP regional workshop themed “Mainstreaming Gender in National Implementation Plans under the Stockholm Convention,” under the Global NIP Update project (GEF ID 10785). It provides a space for continued dialogue and collaboration among policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and civil society actors working at the intersection of gender and chemicals management. The group aims to facilitate exchange of experiences, share knowledge and resources, highlight good practices, and challenges to improve gender mainstreaming into National Implementation Plans (NIPs) and broader chemicals governance. Members are encouraged to use this space to collaborate with colleagues in the region and beyond, ask questions, and advance collective knowledge.
