On 22 January 2026, the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP), under the GEF-funded and UNEP-led Global NIP Update Project (GEF ID 10785), held a webinar on Activity Options for Action Plans for Brominated, Chlorinated and Other New POPs and featured a presentation titled “Action Plan Considerations for Management and Control of POPs Plastic Additives and Related Plastics and Resources in Major Sectors” . 

This presentation outlined concrete activity options for developing sectoral action plans addressing POPs plastic additives such as PBDEs, HBCD, Dechlorane Plus, and UV-328 across electronics, transport, construction, and other major waste streams.
