How can governments in Asia and the Pacific accelerate climate action while maintaining fiscal sustainability? The Asian Development Bank, Asian Development Bank Institute, and SOAS University of London are inviting research contributions for an edited volume exploring fiscal policy solutions that drive climate resilience, green transitions, and sustainable development.

? Topics include:

✅ Fiscal implications of renewable energy investments
✅ Carbon pricing and fiscal sustainability
✅ Leveraging fiscal policy to mobilize private capital
✅ Just transitions and distributional effects

Selected papers will be presented at an in-person conference to be held at the ADB Institute in Tokyo, Japan on 9-10 July 2025. For each paper, the organisers will provide travel and accommodation support for one author who is a citizen of an ADB member economy.
