Drought emergency declared in northern Italy

I generally try to stay positive, especially on this platform: sharing solutions, good examples and insightful stories on how to transition to a more sustainable society.

However this is home to me, our big river is empty, glaciers are falling down and my heart is broken.

We'll be rationing water and yet Italy was pushing back stronger climate action during the EU Council (https://www.electrive.com/2022/06/29/eu-council-decides-on-100-co2-redu…)

When will we learn?
