Activity Options for Action Plans on Cross-Cutting Issues of Specific Stockholm Convention Articles

24 FEB 2026
Online

The Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP), under the GEF-funded and UNEP-led Global NIP Update Project (GEF ID 10785), will host a webinar on Activity Options for Action Plans on Cross-Cutting Issues of Specific Stockholm Convention Articles.

🗓 24 February 2026 | 14:00–16:00 CET

This session builds on our previous three action plan webinars on individual POP groups by focusing on cross-cutting action plans, including institutional and regulatory strengthening, measures to reduce or eliminate releases from intentional production and use, stockpile and waste management, exemptions, public awareness and education and contaminated sites.

Participants will also:

- Explore awareness-raising materials and activities from IPEN, including a case study from Armenia; and

 - Get introduced to GGKP’s new report on strengthening chemicals and waste management through sectoral approaches and synergies from interlinkages between international agreements and initiatives

The webinar will be held in English with simultaneous interpretation in French, Russian, and Spanish.
