Workers handling hazardous chemicals face serious health risks every day. On 21 May, the Global Framework on Chemicals (GFC) Secretariat, the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership, and the International Labour Organization (ILO) hosted a Green Forum community discussion spotlighting real-world strategies to protect workers’ health—especially in vulnerable and informal sectors.

Experts from the GFC Secretariat and the ILO shared insights, and participants contributed their experiences and ideas to help inform national and global priorities ahead of the upcoming Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG) meeting for GFC.
