Dear SAICM Community,
Today I would like to introduce you to the ISLANDS Communities of Practice (CoPs).

The Implementing Sustainable Low and Non-Chemical Development in Small Island States (ISLANDS) is a UNEP led, GEF funded Programme supporting 33 SIDS in the Atlantic, Caribbean, Indian and Pacific ocean to pursue safe chemical development pathways.

Peer-to-peer and SIDS-to-SIDS learning are key components at ISLANDS. For this reason, the Programme supports 7 communities on the Green Forum on key aspects of our work. The communities are SIDS focused, but everyone interested on these topics is welcome to join.

Thanks and see you in the ISLANDS CoPs!
